A click sounded, and before I knew which way was up, Lauren was smashed against me, desperate to be touched. Her lips pressed to my ear, her fingers slipping under my shirt and against my stomach.
“Vance… you’ve got the sexiest body,” Lauren groaned.
“Uh-oh,” Colt mumbled into the phone.
“Yeah.” I switched the phone to my other ear and held it against my shoulder, giving me a free hand. Lauren took advantage, her mouth claiming my now exposed neck. She licked a trail to my ear, giving me goose bumps.
“Follow me back, will you? I might need a hand.” I asked Colt, grabbing Lauren’s wrist to stop it from working my belt open. She giggled, then groped me over my shorts. My eyes rolled backward.
“You mean helping her…you know… I don’t know if I’d be comfortable helping, boss.”
Oh, for fucks sake. “If you think I mean to satisfy her, you can fucking shoot yourself in the head.”
Colt laughed uncomfortably into the phone. “Right.”
I shook my head, then let the phone fall from my shoulder and onto the floor, no idea if it had hung up or not.
She nipped my ear and tugged on my shirt, still rubbing a hand along my now stiff cock. “Baby, I know you can’t control yourself right now,” I grunted, “but I need you to focus so I can drive.”
She snickered, her lips traveling everywhere they could find skin. I’d never been so turned on yet so uncomfortable. Her touch was assertive, nothing like the gentle and unexperienced caresses she’d planted on me before.
This wasn’t my Lauren, the sweet, innocent girl looking for direction and safety. No, this was a drugged-up girl who’d been taken advantage of.
Both my hands were on the wheel. If I touched her, it would only intensify her emotions, and she’d become animalistic inside the truck, then the truck would be off the side of the road, and fending her away would be damn near impossible.
So for the twenty-minute drive to my house I let her hands and mouth wander all over my body, trying my damndest to focus on the road and the oncoming cars. My grip on the steering wheel was like a vice, making it impossible for her to get a hold of my belt buckle. She groaned in frustration, her palm clutching my forearm.
“Vance, please,” she begged, a tear escaped her eye and dripped on my arm. My heart dipped into my stomach. She was still so new and unexperienced. She didn’t understand what was happening to her body. I could relieve her with the touch of my hand, but knowing the effects of the drug, it would be too intense, and only satisfy her for a minute, then she’d want more.
I swallowed, my knuckles turning white from holding the steering wheel so tightly. “Hold on, baby. We’re almost there.”
She nuzzled my neck, pressing her tits against my bicep, inching as close to me as she possibly could. She’d climb on top of me if I’d move my arms and if the space in the truck would allow for it.
Finally, I saw the sun setting over my house by the beach. The moment I moved my arm to shut off the truck, Lauren took advantage, whipping her leg between mine, straddling my thigh. She clung to my neck, her lips finding mine. She moaned into my mouth, eager and pressing for me to open up for her. I wanted to kiss her, to get lost in her, but not now, not when she was drugged into being someone else.
Frustrated with my lack of response, she moved her mouth back to my neck, her hands tugging on the hem of her tank top trying to rip it off her body. Wrapping one arm around Lauren’s waist, I blindly searched for the door handle, finally snatching it opened.
Maneuvering us both out of the truck wasn’t easy; Lauren clung to me, her body squirming against mine. I hiked her legs over my hips as I hopped out of the truck, standing still to steady myself while I held her aching body.
“What do you want me to do?” Colt asked, jogging ahead of me to open the door.
Lauren sucked on my neck, her hands tugging on my hair. She grasped it, pulling to the point where it hurt. I bit my lip, clutching her to me in attempts to still her. “In the garage, there’s a mini-fridge inside of the cupboard next to the tool bench--” Lauren tried to catch my mouth, slipping her tongue inside while I was mid-sentence.
“What am I looking for?” Colt asked, his jaw dropping when he saw how wild Lauren was becoming.
I turned my head from Lauren’s crazed tongue, shutting my eyes when she found my ear again. The tingles shot right to my groin. “There’s a hidden compartment behind the crisper. Bring me the entire baggie.”
He sped toward the door to the garage.
My hands were under her thighs, attempting to keep her from grinding against me, I didn’t want her to come. If her body released, the intensity would multiply from the drug and hurt her, a blend of pain and passion torturing her pureness.
She pulled my hair, forcing me to look at her. “Touch me, please,” she begged with watery eyes.
I sat on the couch with her straddling me, holding her face in my hands. “I need you to try and focus for me, think about anything besides what your body is telling you.”
She bit her lip, her eyes rolling back when she tipped her head backward. “I want my clothes off,” she groaned, pulling her tank top up, trying to maneuver it around my hands.
“Sweetheart, it’s only going to make it worse,” I reasoned.
Tears swelled in her eyes. She grunted, then began moving her hips, angling herself right on top of my throbbing cock.
A hiss escaped my mouth when she ground her hips on top of me. Clutching her waist, I fought to keep her still, but she went ramped. Her hair was half covering her face, her mouth forming an O as moans slipped out, becoming louder with each swipe across my cock.
Watching her was beyond erotic, but sickening at the same time.
Going against my instinct, I traced my fingers up her chest and to her neck, cradling her face with my palm. It was going to happen before Colt brought the countering drug, and I was mentally prepping myself.
She gripped my arm, finding my thumb and sucked on it. I closed my eyes, willing my mind to stop drifting to what those sexy lips would look like wrapped around my cock.
But then it happened, her body slamming recklessly onto of my lap, then she screamed, shaking uncontrollably from the amplified orgasm.
The lump in my throat wouldn’t go away when I swallowed, because I knew what was going to happen next.
Her body contorted, fighting for more friction and interaction, but the pain was written on her scrunched features, the moans, losing their pleasure-filled volume, pumping into an excruciating misery.
“Oww…uhh….” She groaned in discomfort. “Vance…” Her hand pressed at the center of her thighs, trying to dull the pain, but clearly it wasn’t helping her.
“Breathe,” I instructed. “You have to breathe.”
She grasped her scalp with white knuckles. The goose bumps of pleasure on her arms faded away, a full on tremble overpowering her body.
“Fuck,” I muttered, wrapping my arms around her waist and holding her against my chest.
“Make it stop,” she cried, sobs escaping into my shoulder.
Her hand pressed between us began to move, her breathing rising at a rapid rate. She was touching herself, needing to ease the pain, but it would only make it worse. Colt needed to hurry the fuck up.
My lips were flush to her temple as I held her like a vice, keeping her movements as subtle as possible. Too many emotions and urges were running wild in her mind, and the control over her would help her to focus. “Breathe,” I encouraged in her ear. Flattening my palm against her back, I shoved her against my chest, wanting her to feel it expand. Her heart was racing. “Breathe with me.”
Her fingers kept moving against her clit, but her chest rose and fell with mine.
“Ahh!” She cried into my neck, grasping the back of my shirt. “It burns!”
“I know,” I soothed.
“Here it is,” Colt finally came, stopping dead in his tracks, his eyes wide as he took in Lauren completely losing it.<

“Take out the one with the blue label and stick it here.” I rubbed the side of her neck, point to the spot for him to inject the serum. Lauren groaned from the touch to her overly sensitive skin, her mouth searching for my fingers to suck on.
My brows furrowed. “You got the spot?” I asked impatiently.
He pulled the serum from the bag.
Knowing Lauren would feel relief soon, I moved my thumb to her lips, and she devoured it, her digits fiercely rubbing her core while she sucked. My wrist turned, forcing her neck to be more exposed for Colt to insert the syringe.
With a steady hand, he injected the cocktail, then took a step back, his brows crinkling with worry and anticipation.
The pressure of Lauren’s sucking slowed along with her hand between her legs. I let out a deep breath, removing my fingers from her mouth, cradling her head against my shoulder.
Her heart was pounding against mine; seeming to increase in speed while the rest of her body counteracted the drug. Sweat began to form on her forehead, dripping down her cheeks and mixing with her tears.
I resituated her to carry her spent body to my room. My emotions were bouncing all over the place. I was furious with Marcus, angry with myself for letting him get his hands on her. I wanted to curl against her and hold her while her heart bounced up and down from the drugs fighting against each other.
Laying Lauren down on my unmade bed, I took her Toms from her feet, slipping her legs underneath the sheet and up to her shoulders. Her hair was stuck to her forehead with sweat.
“Colt, get me a wet wash cloth.”
I sat down next to her, watching her body relax.
Colt rushed in, throwing me the soggy cloth. I wiped her hot skin, cooling her body temperature. “Bring me the baggie with syringes.”
He left the room, quickly returning. I checked my watch. Another twenty minutes and I’d have to give her another dose of the counter active drug. She’d be passed out for a good twelve hours, the typical amount of time it took the girls to calm down.
Only they wouldn’t get it until whatever monster was done having their way with them.
She might need another dose, but I’d lay with her until her breathing became more even.
Colt was baffled. “That was… crazy… She...”
“She was what sick fucks like to play with.” I shook my head, gently placing the washcloth back over her forehead. “She won’t ever have this happen again.”
Colt’s eyes widened. “Marcy! What if?”
“Go to her,” I murmured, knowing she’d be fine, but Colt seeing her would ease his nerves. I didn’t need him hovering over me, either. “I’ll keep an eye on Lauren.”
“You sure? Will she be okay?”
I nodded. “I’ll call you.”
Not giving it a second thought, he was gone, leaving us alone. She was so beautiful, and it gutted me to see her being controlled by a drug slipped into her drink. She needed to leave The Shore, and I knew the only way to get her to go would crush her.
“I’m so sorry,” I whispered, stroking her bicep and forearm with a single finger. “You didn’t deserve to be caught up in this mess, and I’m sorry for what you’re about to go through. It’ll be the lesser of two evils.”
She inhaled a deep breath, her chest rising and falling at a steady pace. I was relieved she mellowed out. A few of the girls had very bad adverse reactions to the counter cocktail.
Pulling out my phone from my back pocket, I snuck to the porch overlooking the beach, gently opening the slider door and creeping outside, keeping an eye on Lauren through the glass. Swiping a number on my phone, I needed to make sure part of the job was getting done to keep Lauren safe.
“Yeah,” the gruff voice answered on the other line.
“You need to hurry up with the order.”
The man on the other line coughed before he spoke. “Chill out. I’ve got it handled.”
“It needs to be done. Now.”
“I don’t do rush orders.”
“You’ve had plenty of time. Get it done.”
“It’ll cost you double,” he grumbled. “I’ll have one of my guys do it. It’ll be easy for him.”
“I don’t care who does it. Make sure it’s just enough.”
He muttered into the phone. “I’ll call you when it’s been done.”
Glancing at Lauren through the glass, I cleared my throat. “That won’t be necessary.”
Chapter Nine
Lauren
A dull throb ached between my legs, begging to be full-filled while I laid on pink sheets. Prickles tingled throughout my body, increasing with intensity when I’d make the slightest of movements. Opening my eyes, I was surrounded by pink walls, the smooth linens caressing my body were a pink shade as well, and the silkiness of the sheets made the tingles tease my skin.
“Lauren,” a deep timbre murmured. The owner of the appealing voice was nowhere in my line of sight.
“Keep still,” the voice commanded. His tone was sexy, causing my body to crave intimacy.
“Where are you?” I breathed, my hands beginning to wander across my body. The pads of my fingers caused a jolt to pass across my skin, the urge to explore with my fingertips growing. I’d never touched myself in a sexual way, but my mind was screaming at me, pleading to feel the same explosion as when Vance touched me on the beach and in his bed.
Vance. My hand skimmed down my stomach, leaving a trail of over-sensitive goose bumps in its path. Finding my pelvis, I cruised lower, pressing my fingers between my folds for the first time.
“I said to stay still,” the voice demanded.
My eyes popped open, finding Vance at the edge of the bed, standing in only a pair of boxers. Feeling adventures in my wanton state, I ignored his demand, slowly opening myself for him to watch. “Are you jealous of my hand?”
His jaw clenched, his eyes never leaving mine. “No. I don’t want you to pleasure yourself.”
My core became greedy, loving the new sensation of my inexperienced fingers. I ventured lower, finding the entrance Vance claimed to be snug and warm. “But I need it,” I groaned, the tiny tingles beginning to rage.
His brows were furrowed. “I’m warning you.”
I should have been scared of his temper and followed his demands, but I was eager to be on fire, my fingers the match to the end of the dynamite stick inside of me.
“No,” I muttered between my lips, closing my eyes while I drifted into pure bliss. “This feels too good.”
“You’ll regret it.”
My fingers dove into the hole, my body ticking into overdrive from my own touch. I need friction, more and more to satiate the need building inside of me.
Vance only stood at the edge of the bed, watching me in disappointment. I’d forgotten he was there, focusing on the prize of release, the burst of the impending bubble giving the most exquisite feeling in the world.
My lips parted, blurting out how good I was making myself feel.
No sound came from Vance, and I continued on, until the powerful surge of pleasure rushed through, causing my entire body to shake uncontrollably. The satisfied state from the burst should have faded, leaving me tired, but it intensified, multiplying my desire in a painful way.
My insides wanted more, but my brain screamed.
Keeping my fingers inside of me, a slow burn crept into my system, then the tingles turned into nails, pounding into my skin. Both of my eyes sprung open, finding Vance with his arms crossed.
“Why does it hurt?” I shrieked, trying to remove my hand, but unable to do so. “What’s happening to me?”
Tears burst from my eyes as I squirmed on the bed, the pain taking over my whole body. I couldn’t tell what I wanted, the urges for intimacy blew up inside of me, yet the simple caress of my fingers brought uncontrollable discomfort. I couldn’t grasp what was happening, why I’d gone from lust filled insanity to excruciating pain. My palm was glued to my body, and the anxiety of not being able to release it
was eating me alive.
Vance’s eyes were cold as they bore into mine. “This is what happens when you fall for a man you know nothing about.”
I jolted forward, my chest heaving from the erotic dream. My heart raced underneath my hands, beating wildly from my crazy imagination. Keeping one hand on my ribcage, the other covered my forehead, attempting to subside the dull ache beginning to pound. Searching my surroundings, I became even more confused.
Closing my eyes, I willed my mind to focus. Why was I in Vance’s room? He wasn’t going to be back from California until Friday. Did I come here with Marcy and Colt? I couldn’t think straight. Instead of my heart steadying, it raced further by my confusion. How could I not remember getting somewhere? Did we go drinking? I stayed away from alcohol typically, and I would assume I’d remember if I did have some.
“How are you feeling?” I opened my eyes, finding Vance in the doorway, holding a plate and a glass of orange juice. He paced toward me, sitting down on the opposite side of the bed.
“My head hurts,” I said truthfully. “What are you doing here?”
His lip quirked into a grin, handing me the glass. My stomach turned from the citrusy smell I typically loved. “Drink this, it’ll help you feel better.”
“What happened to me?”
His mouth straightened into a thin line. “What do you remember last?”
I racked my brain, avoiding having a panic attack from the unknown.
Vance’s voice was soft, urging me to take a drink. “It’s okay if you don’t remember.”
“What are you doing here?” I asked again, changing the subject.
He cocked his head, averting his eyes from mine. “I came home early to surprise you.”
“You did?” I asked in bewilderment.
He nodded his head, focusing on a piece of lint on his comforter.
I bit my lip, then forced a sip of the juice down; thankful it didn’t come back up like I feared. “Why don’t I remember?”
“You drank too much.”
“I still don’t understand how my mind is completely blank right now.”
